Arden Connemara Stud was established by Nicole Walker, whose life long love of horses and riding, led her to an appreciation of the Connemara Pony – most particularly its inherently quiet temperament and versatile, trainable performance potential.  Under the mentorship of Sue and Barton Clarke of the world renowned Glenormiston Stud, Arden Connemaras was established in 2011.  The foundation herd of mares are Glenormiston bred and represent all six of the stallions that proved so successful for Sue over many decades.  The ponies at Arden have competed successfully in hand, in dressage, eventing and showjumping, often with child riders.  The Stud aims to breed versatile performance ponies with willing temperaments, suitable for child and adult riders, and destined to become much loved four legged family members.
